Finally, something relevant.

So I finally did a Maple Man comic! Sorry it took so long, I had to go buy a comic book drawing program thing and I had no idea where to get one so I had to wait for Shigeru to wake up. All he does on his days off is sleep, or Skype-chat with his friends in Japan. And whichever one he's doing, he'll get mad if I interrupt him, haha. But enough of that, here is the very first Maple Man comic!! (Be excited.) (It's okay to cry.) (So beautiful)

Wow, I'm Reaaallly Lazy!

Okay, so I don't have a comic for you today, but I totally did an awesome drawing of Santa on Shigeru's Manga Studio program! He says it more looks like someone's Great Aunt in a furry nightdress, but what does he know about Santa, eh? I'm gonna try and have the first Maple Man comic thingy posted sometime this week, so hopefully it gets done. Merry Christmas (Joyeux Noël) <-- because ALL Canadians speak French, haha. Or happy whatever you celebrate and yeah, hope to see you all soon :)

I Don't Know What To Put Here.....

So, Shigeru was working the graveyard shift so I told him that I could handle the drawing of my blog tonight because he seriously needed sleep. I'm actually thinking of just giving him a break and doing all the art myself, I mean I can draw so why make him busier? Although I'll probably still get him to do some big cool colour spreads and title page type things, y'know? Anyway, I decided to draw a colour picture of Maple Man himself! I'll draw The Magestic Maple Moose and Socially Responsible Beaver later after Shigeru teaches me how to draw a moose and beaver, haha.

I totally "borrowed" Shigeru's tablet stuff for this one, but he doesn't really have to know, does he?

Hi!

Hey, it's nice to meet ya! I'm Elliot Ashton Erikson, I'm 20 years old and I live in Canada. I'm kinda new to this whole blogging thing... I mean I had one in grade school, but it was a class assignment so I don't think that counts... Right? Anyway, I just moved into a new apartment and I'm sharing with a guy I met at work, the idea of sharing an apartment with a guy I hardly know kinda freaked me out at first, but the dude's pretty chill. He just drinks a lot of tea. He's the one who suggested I start a blog, 'cos I've got some good ideas but since my drawing style isn't the best for this kinda comic, he offered to do the art for me! He's a really cool guy, his name's Shigeru (The dude who draws & writes the Annoying Roomate) he moved here from Japan not long ago so he's got a cool accent... We spend a lot of time getting him to say hard English words, it's pretty fun. He's kind of a crazy cat-guy, though. He's got, like, three...

I digress (love saying that!) this blog's gonna be devoted to following the adventures of "Maple Man, Defender of Canada" along with his sidekicks; The Magestic Maple Moose and Socially Responsible Beaver. So yeah, we'll have a post coming soon or whatever....

Also, Shigeru would like to apologise for being a lazy ass and not updating since forever ago.
But I've got a laptop, so until he gets one of his own he can use mine because I'm a nice guy.

More about me is what Shigeru is telling me to post, so uhm, I was born in Ontario, but I currently live elsewhere in Canada. I'm tall (taller than Shigeru) and I'm a redhead... There, more about me.

So, I'm not sure what to do about Shigeru... He came home from a late shift at work, bossed me around about my blog and  now he's fallen asleep on my bed.... Do I just leave him there or what?
Ugh, I'm going to go deal with my room mate...
